I’m John Girvin, software engineer and web developer from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
I draw on fifteen years of experience gained from a wide variety of real world projects, technologies, clients and working environments. For the past ten years I’ve been working almost exclusively on web based applications and have built up key skills in Java, PHP, SQL and related web technologies, applications and frameworks. I have led the development of a number of high profile government and commercial websites, developing both advanced interactive user interfaces at the front-end and the back-end server technology that powers them.
